Autograph letters signed and initialed from Lydia DuGard to Samuel Dugard [manuscript], [1665?]-1672.

Written from Barford, Warwickshire, Worcester and elsewhere. Contains 32 letters to Samuel, most of them before their marriage (2-33), and 1 letter to her cousin and Samuel's brother Henry Dugard, September, 1666 (1). Also includes an autograph note signed by her son Thomas Dugard, August 11, 1698 (34); the signed will of her daughter Lydia Cotton, February 26, 1704/05 (35); and two notes on the descent of these letters in the family (36-37).

Lydia Dugard lived mostly with her cousins' family at Barford and in 1672 married her cousin Samuel Dugard, fellow of Trinity College, Oxford, and later rector of Forton, Staffordshire.
